Scan printed and handwritten recipe cards

Take a photo of a recipe card or a cookbook page and get a recipe you can edit. Decision — 29 October 2026: Not planned. Decide against adding automatic card/handwriting recognition to this product scope. On-device OCR exists and can feed the existing correction/review screen; remote processing is not required. The decision reflects recognition quality for handwriting and quantities plus separate native platform engines, build integration and ongoing verification. Keep photos and manual editing; no claim that recognition inherently requires uploading private pages.
